All the latest Nokia are the same old looking phones with different colours and different buttons. The colour screens are naff and the ringtones are pants. The rely too heavily on people being loyal because of their easy interface.
Ive just bought a Samsung S300 - it has one of the best colour screens Ive seen, its tiny (think 8210 size but a clamshell) and the ringtones are the best Ive heard. The Samsung T100 sounds great (over a year old and still sounds better than any nokia) and that was only 21 tone - the S300 is 40 tone polyphonic.
I got mine free on 02 with a £35pm contract.
The Samsung V200 has all the above and a camera but is a fair bit bigger.
Sony Ericcson have the T68i which is getting a bit long in the tooth now (is what I upgraded from) but has a great feature set and is dirt cheap these days.
