The Dam Busters & Star Wars - Stealing Ideas?

I only noticed this when I watched the end of "The Dam Busters" that I had taped a few weeks ago. Has anyone noticed the almost exact same lines…
The Dam Busters
Gibson and co had just arrived at the Moehne dam. AA fire starts up..
Guy (pilot): How many guns to you think there are, Trevor?
Trevor (gunner): I would say ten guns. Some in the fields, some on the towers.
Star Wars
X and Y wings are about to attack the Death Star
Red Leader: How many guns do you think, Gold Leader?
Gold Leader: I would say twenty guns. Some on the surface, some on the towers.
Another quote, but not quite as similar…

Just before AJ-P goes in for the bomb run.
Guy: OK, you can take your run now. I'll fly across the damn and try and draw the flack of you.
Star Wars
Just before Gold Leader make his attack run.
Red Leader: Roger Gold Leader. I'm going to cut across their axis and try and draw their fire.
Also, don't you think that the idea of the planes attacking the dam, lining up, having to wait before dropping the mine, AA fire streaking towards you is very similar to the run down the Death Start trench?
Lucas was obviously a fan of the film.

Actually there is another WWII film in progress.
