Anyone got one of these? Would you buy another or run a mile?
For instance, the Cyberhome CH-DVD 405 Multi-Region DVD-Player is £85 or so.
It's got a Dobly decoder built in, so you just need an amp and speakers (I guess?).
There's also the Scan one but OC is local to me if there's any problems with it.
Comments folks?

hi chris
i bought the older cyberhome (528 i think) last year from richersound.ie for 99 euro delivered to my door. i was so impressed with it i bought another for the snug upstairs. plays just about anything i have thrown at it and the picture quality ok.
it hooks up nicely to my DTS amp. one downside i think the remotes are the crappiest i have ever had the misfortune to use.
cheers
big sinky

Tesco and Morrisons where selling an LG model for around £ 50.00, it's multi region, silver, scart/s-vhs connections and works just fine, a mate got one about 8 months or so ago.

Cheers guys.
Do you know if the LG was multi region and Dolby Paul?
I'll keep my eyes open when I'm shopping.
{Edit - WTF is Dobly? }

I bought mine from Superdrug for 64 squids. Does the lot inc: Audio CD / MP3 / CD-R / CD-RW. Can do multi-region too, though this is less of an issue these days. It's a Slimline unit - very neat and the quality of Dolby Digital sound and 4:3 and 16:9 vision is excellent.
Must go and rent a movie tonight....

I got mine from Makro foir ab0out £35 iirc.
It works fine but the buttons on thr front panel are of shocking quality.
Remote works fine though.
Picture quality is good and I have it linked to a dolby amp.
I dont think its mulit-region though.
