Enquiries By Letter:
Previous keeper details
If you are the current keeper you can get information about any earlier keepers on application. You should write to: Vehicle Record Enquiries, Vehicle Customer Services, DVLA, Swansea SA99 1AJ quoting the registration number of the vehicle and giving the reasons for your request. A fee of £5 is payable.
Release of another vehicle’s keeper details
You can obtain the name and address of the registered keeper of a vehicle if you can show reasonable cause for needing the information.
Members of the public will need to complete form V888. Companies should complete form VQ3 , or apply in writing (both forms are available from DVLA). You should include a fee of £2.50, the vehicle registration number of the vehicle you are requesting information on, full reason for your request and the date of event.

well a shame you are tarring everyone with the same brush and don't know the full details!! Not at all a case of trying to swindle someone out of his cash, but the other way round!! If I was interested in his money I would have claimed 4years ago when he first left instead of making an independant self sufficient life for myself!! Instead he is trying to claim on my property to keep his girlfriend in the manner she is used to and the manner in which he always like to be kept.Unfortunately relationships do come to an end and i'm not a believer in living off someone elses ,but I do believe in fairness.......If I have to declare all my assets why should'nt he,the difference being i am not trying to acquire his in any way!! I thank those of you that have come up with your helpful, non biased ideas.it is much appreciated

Leigh,
If you reply to Basal once more this will constitute a conversation with a person of the opposite sex.
Which for him would be a first,so careful how you go.
Add him to your VIP list to see how he likes to reply to posts, very predictable,yawn,yawn....

lol - a misogamistic virgin for sure... A bit of a 'Kevin' I reckon.
erm.. Bas's reply, that came after this, was for *some* reason deleted. For the sake of continuity it went like this:
"its misogynistic you idiot
and I don't have a pathological hatred of women, I don't even hate our scrounger here. Shes just another dried up old prune trying to rob some poor bloke."
