Infacol for babies under one month, gripe water after 1 month. Apart from that it's restless nights.

Our first boy was on gripe water from three weeks old. Infacol was suggested by the Doctor's first, though was useless and expensive.

Also bought a sling to carry him around - so he was always upright. This also helped bring the wind up naturally. We did wind him, though had to go the extra mile as his colic was bad. (GP told us to take him to hospital straight away) Hospital suggested winding him after every ounce of milk, (easier said than done when he was screaming the place down - vicious circle).

Colic seemed to go as soon as he was on solids (10 weeks old) he was very greedy and was going into a second bottle at every feed which was 3 hourly!

How bad is the colic first because certain baby milks can effect it (if you are bottle feeding) also if you are bottle feeding have you got a slow flowing teat because the fast teats encourage the baby to drink faster so gulping more air.
Baby massage is also really good there are certain exercises which are excellent for baby's which suffer from colic and lots of our parents found this the best option.
Good luck!

millions of remedys - tried them all - the only surefire one is earplugs

Type of milk seems to be a big factor - try changing formula - worked for baby 1 - not for baby 2. Baby 2 was happy with a fast flow teat - made baby 1 worse.

Did I mention earplugs?
