i have 2 friends, one male , one female , coming to visit from abroad for 2 months this summer, 1 month of which may be in London. How easy and how quick would it be to find work, for example, as a labourer, and work , as a female in a bar or restaurant. i have been told a labourer would get £70 a day. How much would you expect to pay for accomodation and how quickly can you find it. any advice would be welcome.

I don't really know about the money involved, but they could try and get some accomodation in a university. I did a 3 month work experience thing in london a few years back and got a room in greenwich university, fairly basic, but pretty cheap as far as I remember.
