I saw the Japanese version on Friday. It's a good film but not scary, all a bit over hyped if you ask me.

I enjoyed it, only thing towards the end. I thought it had finished when she awoke with the child in the bed. Being as she found the girl in the dark, |I thought she had stopped the curse, but no.

Found it not scary in the slightest (already posted about it on another topic).
However a female friend went to see it, she required a lift home afterwards as she was 'too scared' (even though it's a 10 mins walk max).
I suppose it didn't help that I rang her just as the film finished and had my phone set to not show caller id
What is it with women and scary films?
