Horay! Today marks the end of the signifance of UN and the Geneva convention. War is going to be played the old school way. Raping and pillaging would be a common thing.

good riddance IMO. perhaps we should send tony a list of ministers that he should, in the spirit of the day, pre-emptively sack before they become a threat?

no. he lacks the spine to take responsibility for the less pleasant acts that governments are sometimes called on to do.
you'll also note that in parliament he opposed armed action against saddam in 1991 even with the absolute backing of the UN for that conflict. he's inconsistent.
