Question

I want to upgrade from my Kyosho GP Alpha 10 to a full time off road buggy, apexmodels have recommended the following -

Ho Bao Hyper 7 1/8th Buggy £379.95 including P/S engine
GS Storm 1/8th Buggy £399.95 including P/S engine

Any thoughts on the above or alternatives for around £400?

Cheers,
Si.

Question

MJ,

What are they like for off roading, I notice they are considerably cheaper than the two recommended by apexmodels.

dunno mate, not got an offroader, thinking of it though.
I have the on road version-and it drives mint, and is dead easy to put right if things go drastically wrong.

the protech 1/6 and 1/8 scale cars are from what I can see exactly the same as these, and I think Ofna are a big outfit http://www.ofna.com/ugtlx.html, there also seems to be alot of option parts available.

or the Phaser Mfr's site is www.protech.be

where you based mate - we ponce about at the reebok stadium most sundays, if you want a looksee.

mj,

Ofna do a Hyper 7 which looks the same as the Ho Bao Hyper 7 1/8th recommended by apexmodels. I am getting the impression that there is one main manufacturer who companies are buying kits from and then re-badging them.

ScoobyWon't,

I have a Kyosho GP, forgot they did the Inferno must take a look.
