I know some of this has been done before but I couldn't find a definitive answer when I searched so I still have some questions for those that have the SPA Design gauges in their cars.

First gauge is Boost/Air Temp, should I take a branch from a T piece from one of the pipes off of the manifold and connect that to my gauge via an adapter kit (ala Delfi style). Is it only the earlier cars that have the blanked whole in the inlet? Mine is a MY99. Not sure where to connect the air temp for the best results, I guess after turbo somewhere?

Oil temp is ok as I'm going into the blanking above No3 oil way, and I know that oil pressure is under the alternator but my question is this, the thread for the oil pressure is 1/8 npt and the SPA handbook said that it is 1/8 bsp but will fit 1/8 npt. Does that mean I don't need a adapter?

Last gauge is fuel press and water temp, where should I fit the sender for the fuel pressure? I guess I need a special tee piece that will take a 1/8 bsp thread but which fuel pipe is best and where is it? Will water temp be the same in that I need an adapter which fits in one of the water hoses and allows me to fit my 1/8 npt temp probe in or is there somewhere already on the car that I can use?

Any advice on fitting these gauges would be appreciated

What I did
Boost: take it stright from one of the pipes on the manifold via an adaptor kit.
Oil pressure: yup, under the alternator, fits straight in, no adaptor needed. The sender just fits in there!

The others - no idea, don't have them

I got the boost gauge fitting kit from scoobyparts.com for about a fiver. The pipe fits straight onto the end of the boost gauge sender and I then cable tied the sender to the suspension turret. I tried to fit the oil temp into the oil way above cylinder 3 using the subaru adaptor but with out removing the inlet manifold/shed loads of pipes I found it really hard to get in to tighten it up so I got a pre made drilled/tapped sump plug from scoobymania.

No boost adapter kit is need for the MY99 UK car!

There is a rubber blank on the inlet manifold. Just pull off the blank and fit a hose directly to it! That's it!!

Paul, the same blank is on ALL the scoob engines. They are on the centre part.

There's no hose with the SPA kit, which is why an adaptor comes in handy
