Anyone taken Zyban?
#1
Stopped smoking for 8 days now.
Can't really believe I've managed it, after a very long time of smoking, so I'm very proud of myself.
Trouble is, I was prescribed Zyban to help, and its f****** awful.
Has anyome else suffered the side effects?

Be proud of yourself and remember: It's over. You can't ever smoke again. Just one can tip you over. I know...But, I've not smoked since the end of August last year and I know I never will again.

Now don't quote me on this, but I'm sure that Zyban can be pretty nasty. My mates gf used it and she was ill for a while, not too sure what of but my mate put it down to this Zyban.
I'm no GP mind! As you can prob tell but just go easy mate, prob better off cold turkey!
Every time you want a smoke, have a cola-cube, infact go and buy a 1/4 now!! And get me a packet of S&V Puffs while your there!
Good Luck!!

Its a weird one this.
It has helped with the craving, I'm sure.
I was supposed to double up to 2 pills as from last Friday, but as they were making me feel like s**t, I didn't.
I am now in a quandry, whether to give up the pills and hope for the best, or carry on and hope the side effects don't get worse.
As for the smoking, although the pills are definately helping, I am climbing the walls at the moment, but I think its a result of the Zyban, not the ****.
Anyone been through this?

I give up September 2001(40+ a day) and haven’t touched a cigarette, cigar or joint since. I used patches for two weeks then tried it without, patches took the edge off it for the first two weeks but after that it was easy. Good luck.
