All the Colins I know, I and American counterparts pronounce their name as 'Col-in'
Why is it that the Americans pronounce Mr. Powell's first name name as 'Co-lin'?

Its because colin and his friends grew up during world war two and there was a war hero at the time called co-lin somthing who was a little bit famous so his friends being very interested in war heroes started to pronounce his name co-lin.

The answer is obvious- Americans are stupid and will buy/believe anything they are told. Accepting Colin as Co-lin is just part of the big lie the govt is selling to the people.
Its all part of the conspiracy to hide the crash landed alien technology from the world so the Americans can sell it in small pieces and thus retain their Global domination.
An alternate theory is somewhat more simple: the man is a d1ck.
