What a game!!!!

Best game I've played since Deus Ex......

Also got Operation Flashpoint and Alone in the Dark 4 - doesn't even compare!!!!

Highly recommended.....

Max has great visuals, but is a bit easy tho, finished it in a week and that includes 3 days/2 nights at the world superbikes at Brands.
no multiplayer, b funny if it did, everyone slow mo jumping around matrix styley hehe

i enjoy the odd single player game - playing a bit of Cossacks currently. also still enjoy the odd session of SAWT3 / Rainbow 6.

and GT3 is a tough one to resist.

Just got Flash point and it dosen't look good, give it a go though, not sure about the walking through walls? does it get better.

i played op flashpoint for a full day sometime ago.

Have to say i don't think its much cop.

Seemed to get sniped from so far away i couldnt even see the enemy (yes i was lying down and on full sniper zoom and still getting shot).

I think the magazines lack of decent games in the summer (kinda normal) has led them to choose this as one of the best of a very poor bunch.

Started playing Max P on thursday its a bit difficult to put down thats for sure. I like the added touches like the vibrating beds, drum kit, toilets etc that all work with the use key. Good game play not too sure of the dream sequence stage though.

your sargeant guy says enemy 2 oclock or whatever, im on full zoom cant c a thing next thing im dead !

At least when you die it shows you where they were so when you re-try you have a rough idea!

As for the dream/drug induced sequences in Max Payne, they are a pain the a**e theres a multi level one later in the game that i hated with a passion.

I take it back the single missions don't seem complete, but campaign and net play are definitly good. Taff was that you on flash helping me with download advice. 4AM what you doing up that late.

Yeah, got to say Max Payne was absolutely brilliant to play.

I think everyone thought it didn't last long simply because people were glued to it once they installed and played it.

Just finished it last night and thought the whole thing was excellent. Runs lovely on my little KryoII too!

Can't wait for the sequel now!
