I seem to remember ciggies in Italy were less than half the price of ciggies here 2 years ago. You can only buy them from licenced tobacconists - not at newsagents and supermarkets etc.

Bensons were about £25 for 200 although, you won't get 'sticks' of them from many tobacconists. They only usually sell them as individual packs.

Customs where taken to the courts over this.... And they lost. Unless there is 100% proof that you are going to sell them (previous history, police/customs proof etc) they cannot take them from you nor your vehicle.
Tell them to get stuffed!!

Customs have been done in court for this.... yet they still act like they have control.
I remember Mike Dikens (Talk radio) going on about this. At the end of the day Customs lost the fight in court.
