Cool

Well, not if you have a Ferrari Force Feedback wheel for your PC that has a USB connecter on it (Guillemot/Thrustmaster one).

Just slap it in the USB slot nearest the memory card. Turn it on, calibrate and before you can say 'Cor blimey guvna I woulda wasted forty odd quid' you are fully wheeled up

Not sure on the button configuration bit yet but it certainly controls the car. All buttons are available, just not sure on how you reconfigure them (but then I haven't read the manual )

Better get back to the racing

Cool

Just out of interest, if anybody else has any other USB steering wheels that weren't designed for the PS2 and feels like trying them out then post on here and let people know if they work. Shouldn't harm the PS2 but if it does, I don't accept responsibility

I've got to build meself a mini table thing so I clamp my wheel to it.

I'm assuming it hasn't been publicised that other USB wheels work to push up the sales of the Logitech FFB one.

Force feedback works great with mine, and having shelled out 90 quid for a PC wheel, I'm chuffed to bits it works with the PS2.

Cool

Bummer, thanks for trying it.

It was in the left hand USB port (if it's stood up ?)

I assumed that all wheels would work under a similar configuration through the USB interface but it looks like Microsoft may have done their own thing yet again

Question

Anyone out there with another Ferrari Force Feedback one ? Just want to make sure I haven't consumed something funny and that this does actually work

You have all tried calibrating first I assume and not just plugged it in and expect it to work? Cos it won't unless you calibrate.....

Talking

I've got a Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP for playing GPL, the "official" Sony wheel is actually one of these with different badges and blue trim instead of red. Works a treat!

In fact, I might have to buy a second one...
