They get a high level of recommendation from me if you are thinking of flying to Australia.
I also advise a stopover in Langkawi or Kuala Lumpur as a must.
BTW.....Australia isn't too bad either...

I thought MAS and Virgin are code sharing. I always fly MAS and will not ever again fly BA....once with them is more than enough - leg room is diabolical and service was crap.

KL is a 24hr city, u'll get shops selling mobile phones at weird hours. For a night out try Bangsar area (close to city) or The beach club (in the city next to loads of other clubs/bars).
Langkawi is good for sea and chilling out, cheap food/alcohol as it is a duty free island. rent a car or bike and go round the island yourself, more fun. but remember to haggle abit. in langkawi, u must go for island hopping (approx a 3hr trip), u wouldn't regret it.
if you need more info. mail me and i'll tell you more. I'm a Malaysian living in the UK for the past 8yrs.
Hope you have a good time there.
And on MAS stewardesses, they are a fine looking bunch. Seeing one myself.

BK has said it all......if you go to LAngkawi.....don't go to Kuah the capital....go to one of the not so well known areas.
I can give you details on a couple of places in Langkawi. The beaches are just like the brochures.....white sand, clear sea, peaceful, sunny, beautiful!!!! Honestly, it is like paradise!!!!
If you want lots to do then KL is the place to be.
When I have recovered from this jet lag and got all of my stuff sorted, I will mail you bits and pieces and prices.

I am off to that area on my Honeymoon in October. Spending 3 nights in KL. 8 nights in Penang and 3 nights in Singapore.
I have stayed in KL before when I went to the Grand Prix, looking forward to spending longer exploring KL, as didn't see much last time I was there. Therefore ideas gratefully received.
Looking forward to it. By the way anyone know how must a Fuji S602 camera costs out there?
Chris

I always say:
Going East, fly Singapore Air
Going West, fly Virgin
Flying in Europe, BA are OK (and it's short enough not to matter too much)
(UK centric if it wasn't obvious )
Anything long haul, avoid BA where at all possible!!!!!

I flew with Malaysian to KL, Penang, Singapore and Australia over Christmas and they were really good. We took our 8-month old daughter with us which we thought would be a mega trauma, but they really looked after us.
