Question

What mobile phone would you recommend me to ugrade my Nokia 8210 (with usual foobarred screen)?

I want a small phone with good battery life. I'm not interested in GPRS, colour screens, polyphonic ringtones or cameras! I just want a phone to make calls on!

Doc,

I just tried to upgrade my 8210 as I knackered the screen. There were no phones that I liked. I was not willing to pay more than about £70, so I bought a replacment phone from ebay for £7.50. Problem solved

You could try looking at the Nokia 6510 or the 8310.

Erm, i've just got a Sharp GX1 piccie phone thingy, and would you belive, as a phone it's not at all bad. Sound quality, battery life, etc is a lot better than the Nokia it replaced. But still rate my old Ericson T10S as the best quality mobile phone i've used.

(the polyphonic ringtones on the Sharp aren't very loud though, and unless you've got ring, ring on it, it never sounds like a phone when it rings!...)
