If anyone deems this inappropriate then Mr Webmaster please feel free to close/delete.

The company I work for "Internet Designers Ltd." (IDL) is undergoing healthy expansion and we need more IT consultants. The company was set-up a year ago as a joint venture between BT and A few Ex-BT people initially to atrract goosd people and provide consultancy services within BT. Until recently BT has been the only customer (the company is now over 110 consultants) however the second phase of the original business plan is starting and external customers are being sought resulting in the requirement for more people....

Essentially all IT skills are required:

Network
Microsoft
Unix (Mainly Solaris)
Programmers
Web Designers
Project Management
etc.

The company is mainly based around Cambridge and Adastral Park nr Ipswich, but we are now recruiting people for Mondial House in London (Cannon St.).

From a personal point of view I enjoy the working environment - it allows me to enjoy working on the size of project that only a large company like BT can provide without having to buy in to the entire BT corporate career mindset. The stated aim of IDL is to ensure people are happy in their work. If you are assigned to work which ceases to be intersting or technically challenging then every effort will be made to move you. This has happened to several people is not merely marketing hype (I was also sceptical).

The Packages are generous but don't include many of the corporate goodies (Healthcare but no pension - though being reviewed). They do include share options in the company. This is not a rocky road dot.com venture. Large profits are being made and firm financing has been provided by BT.

If anyone is looking for a move the please have a look at the website and drop me an E-Mail....(dean.smith@idl-bt.com)

Or indeed be a stepping stone, so to speak, for Scoobynet to earn some!
