What is going on in this country at the moment?
Asylum is out of controll
Paedophilia is everywhere
The elderly are neglected
The police are more interested in putting cameras on roads than catching criminals
We are probably gonna get 2 aircraft carriers built by the french
Burglars are not being sent to jail incase its 'bad for them'
We are on the brink of war
While we debate if the UN should act on Iraq, the French decide that they 'won't be sending troops' (I thought the UN acts as a whole?)
Students are being charged stupid fees so that they cant afford to go to uni
Companies are getting away with not paying their staff proper pensions so they have to work till they are 70.
Is it just me or are we all really in a bad state at the moment?
Oh and we don't have any Firemen tomorrow as they are getting payed far to little.

Lets face it, most of the threads with controversial topics go rapidly 'off topic' within 3 pages or so, or the good people who post them get bored with the lack of intellectual stimuli required to keep them growing and start stupid new ‘funny’ topics which generate 10,000 pages of drivel. So not much point IMO. I believe it’s called UK malaise and is intrinsically linked to people spouting guff while sitting on their fat ***** doing nowt. All IMHO from my comfy leather chair

MR2 Rob, only way of getting it off of your chest is by finding someone who voted Labour in (easily identified as their head is firmly shoved up their own ****), and slapping them around the face with a big wet smelly cod!!

LOL at Steve Fort. Perosnally I'd like to go into the House of Commons and make all those Politically COrrect MPs eat a whole jar of Marmite each.
Yes MR2 Rob -you've finally realised that this country is turning into a Dump!

IMHO the only thing out of control is the media...

Not necessarily arguing with you, but Wages may be more over here, but so is the cost of living. Thats why everyone nips off to france for cheap wine.
Also - check out the price of Coke in hypermarkets. About £1.20 here, and 85p there, and thats just a Fizzy drink.
I do agree that the media is out of control over here though. They don't have to answer to anyone and are getting dangerous. However, there are many issues including the assylum seeker problem and the fire strikes which are far to 'in our faces' to blame on the media.
