Hi Burr,
Ijust wanted to ask;
whats the deal with being stopped by a lone officer for either checks/producer requests/bollocking etc. ??
Does it make any differece with regard to procedures etc.. and my rights if there are two officers present, or only the one??
no current problems btw, just curious.. and thought Id ask while you are around..
thanks.

No difference. The second officer tends to be backup if all goes pear-shaped, but more often for corroboration.
Its hard enough a job as it is mate, don't make it any harder
The law states "police officer....." not "2 police officers..."

BTW, is it just my mate; or has anyone else been repeatedly stopped by plod in Strelley area notts??
He got stopped 5 times in one week.. 15 times in all.. he got fed up and sold up for a BM330Ci .. Im seriosly looking into a scoob but I dont relish the potential harrasment..

just to say that not everyone gets stopped.
had my scoobs for 2.5 years. not stopped once.
dont let something that may or not happen put you off ownership of a very enjoyable car
