Just seen a Ford Focus WRC driving down the Newtownards Road into Belfast at the Stormont Estate, it had Grist and McCrae written on the rear side windows anyone know what it was doing here?

That would be fun if this was a wind-up, but it's not. Maybe I should tell them I saw McCrae himself driving it which it might have been cos I didn't actually see the driver. The car was behind me so I just assumed it was some local guy on his way to or from some rally, until he went by me when I was turning towards work and he passed me on the left (which was when I saw the names)

There is a replica car doing the rounds of Ford dealerships at the moment. it was spotted driving up and down the main street in Aberdeen a week or two ago!

I must have been the replica 'cause if it was the real thing it would have been sat on the side of the road with the bonnet up with fluids pi**ing from it or in a ditch

Well, as its driven between stages on the public road, then I guess that it is road legal

Or is it? - they seem to have darn small numberplates on the WRC cars. I bet Mr Plod wouldn't be happy if we had them. Anyone know??

If we all had WRC cars methinks that Mr. Plod would have plenty of things that made him far more unhappy than the size of our numberplates...
