I recently had food poisoning due to the inept staff of a large hotel chain, I reported this matter and received a letter from their solicitors regarding this.
I had to fill out a form stating the relevant details.
What do you think will happen, will they try and compensate me to keep me quiet?
Or do hotels not compensate for this sort of things?

Anyone who has had a similar experience?

they may give you a small amount of money - did you report it to health and safety bods who inspect commercial kitchens etc ??

They told me that they were obliged to tell the H&S people, the letter I received was heavily based on the subject, I dont know if these solicitors were connected to H&S in some way?

Ok, H&S bods are usually very good a shutting down places quickly if not up to scratch, and also if they had a report on the kitchen it may be of help to you..
