Unhappy

Folks,

Looks like my Scooby is sold . Need to rent a car for 10 days before I fly the coop.

Anyone know of where I can get an excellent deal, Milton Keynes / Bedford areas?

thanks

Thanks for the replies Simons

Have tried Thrifty, but they won't do one way rental! Europcar seems a reasonable bet: £346 all inclusive for a 2.0 Mondeo / 11 days. They will deliver the car to me on campus and I can drop it at Luton airport on my way out.cheers

Alternatively... I believe Saab and Audi both offer 24 hour test drives. Find 8 more companies that do this, and you've got your 10 days of motoring for free...

LOL.

Wonder if there are 10 Scooby dealers in the area who would do the same!

Lan Cat,
Just went and tried them. Base rate of £144 for an Astra looks attractive, but when CDW and theft insurance are added, it jumps up to £374. Corsa base rate is £133 for same period

Ta anyway

I didn't bother with the cdw/theft options. Maybe that's why it worked out ok for me.

Good luck with the search.
