Talking

There are a load of these sites around, but i'd prefer to get a job through someone who actually knows their stuff...rather than the usuall cr#p that agencies throw at you

Recommendation and word of mouth are the best methods I have found of finding decent work.

Gethin.

I would, but it would have to be a day rate; I'm not doing less than 8 hrs.

I mean, if you're gonna do a job, you gotta do it right. Right?

Hey hey, yeah, I'm in Dallas. The storms and tornado's on Sunday (there were 9 in north Texas that day) were a bit close for comfort - the big one which destroyed parts of Dallas went right by our house - we had to get the baby out of bed and take cover in a hallway in the middle of the house as it passed by. The Tornado sirens going off and phones all screaming out alerts at us were a little disconcerting but we got away unscathed, thankfully.

I'm not sure how but there were no deaths or serious injuries, so I hear.

The last big storm which hit our area left us without power for a week - that sucked....

I worked out there in the mid eighties, and played rugby with one of my closest friends, who now lives in Fort Worth . It was an eye opener for an 18 year old lad, but I bet it's changed a bit since those days. He lived in Euless back then.
Glad you'll safe.

Thanks, mate.

Yeah, it's so different from the 80's - when I got here in 2015 I was told that 10k people a month were moving to Dallas, huge growth! Never been to Euless but I've been out to Forth Worth a few times.
