I'm now so p*ssed off that I am going to have to vent my anger on here.
I am selling my car and have advertised in quite a few publications. One of them managed to print the wrong price (£3,199 instead of £6,199) and I have had complete retards calling me at all hours of the night. For Example, 4.30am, 6.30am (yesterday), I'm well peeved. I take my phone up to bed cause I use it as an alarm clock, I had to go out and buy an alarm yesterday so I could leave the phone switched off. I've had to change my answer phone message to say that the price was wrong and leave a message if you are still interested and I'll call you back.
If that's not annoying enough, they ask stupid questions like... "what reg is it, what colour, what wheels, is it 4 door or 5 door"??? READ THE FECKIN ADVERT IT'S ALL THERE!!! JESUS CHRIST, I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW THICK PEOPLE ARE!!!!!
Rant over, thanks for giving me space to let off steam!!

Too true Mice_Elf - was going to say that often I will ask details regarding the car even if it was in the advert, just to confirm all the details - Loot are notorious for their lax descriptions - there are often errors.
I remember wanting to sell some computer bits and they went in at 14.99 not 149.99!

Red-Dog.......what i'd do is ring the company who mis-advertised it and tell them everything you've just told us.Then i'd ask for a complete refund AND free advertising until the car is sold.
For all the hassle they've caused thats the least i'd expect......

It's free to advertise anyway. I'm just not answering my phone now. If someone is really interested they will leave a message and i'll call em back!

Alternatively stipulate in the advert that calls will only be accepted between 18:00 and 23:00 hours or something.
Trouble is, you're advertising a desirable car - first come, first served type arena...people are going to want to grab it and be the first to see it.
Although I admit that 4:30am is a bit much, by anyone's reckoning...

You still have my sympathies.. however, I found someone honest and genuine who bought my old wheels.. (I know theres a BIG price difference).. Just keep venting the anger and stick with it.. someone'll come along..
