Was anyone else amused at Clarkson's facial expressions and head movements as the RS200 came on boost on Top gear. Class you could see he had soiled his pants even before the afro sporting wombat had stacked the thing.

LMAO but the scoob is only just quicker than the Suzuki budget mobile. As Clarkson said the RS nuked the bug eyed monstrosity.

I would love to see your head when my cossie came on boost you would pooh your pants tommy. LMAO at whatever car you drive cause its slow. My oil breather tank cost more than a brand new scoob Roflmao at scoob's being canned by everything even funny little honda MPV's with no torque.

Co55ie, if you paid £20,000 for an oil header tank, I've got an swirl pot you can have for £37,000.

Thumbs down

It is a bit of a strange way of testing cars really..

Around a track with the same driver.. okay sounds fair enough..
but he might drive FWD better than RWD or AWD? and it is not the real world that the cars are going to be used in is it..

But then how do you do it?!

Found it interesting that 5TH gear found less of a difference between CTR and Focus.. and that Tiff was driving them far far harder than Top Gear did.. but again unlikey any of us will be driving them like that on the road, not for long anyway before hitting a tree, so perhaps that is not a fair test either?!

Hey guys, I thought I'd mention that that was no ordinary RS200 rally car. That was a 750bhp monster. It was previously a world record holder and was re-engineered by GreerSport to retake the record.

Several test runs on different tracks/surfaces with different drivers? A car that is quick on a wide, fast, smooth track might not be so quick on a tight, twisty, bumpy one and vice versa.

Of course, that's expensive.

Very true..

Still find Tiff's driving impressive and Clarkson trying to do the same just doesn't work. IMHO.. of course...

I think Ford have made a good job with the look of the outside of the Focus.. but the inside is 'orrible and from what they are saying they have taken it one step too far to get it quicker and made it too unfriendly for the road..

Fit a set of aftermarket suspension to a CTR and a Focus and the CTR may show more improvement over the Focus, as the Focus suspesion is solid as it is etc.. maybe.. just thinking out loud here..
