Why do the winners always live in Purley?
Warren Pierson whizzed over to the NEC today to collect a new Lexus LS430 after winning the £50,000 car in the Top Trumps promotion that ran at Shell Service Stations.
Running between July 4 and September 4, the promotion gave customers of Shell's Optimax fuel the opportunity to collect Top Trumps cards and win the prize of a £50,000 car of their choice.
After receiving the keys on the Lexus stand from David Moss, Shell Retail Operations manager, Pierson joked: “Winning the car hasn't sunk in yet. If you give me the keys I think I'll just roll it right off the stand. I'll now have to look at some of the stands at the show for motor insurance.”
It had been a difficult decision for Pierson and his wife Alison, from Purley in Surrey, picking the car. “It was a challenge so I bought What Car? magazine and then test drove the Jaguar XK8, but after having the Lexus for a weekend, it won on luxury and gadgets - it was very impressive,” he said.

surely there must be a clause about "shell retail operations managers" winning, is it not them that administer the competition?.
bet he opened about 3 million of the packs for nowt!! we should bombard shell with complaints that it should have gone to somone with more ambition (lexus indeed!!! fine cars but think of what kind of weekend car £50k would buy)

well they seem to have very nice ***** nice and firm and pert also same also seems to apply to there ***** might have something to do with the fact they are all either 4ft or 6ft tall

OK bit tired - be please when shutdown has finished and I can get back to "normal". Just been told that some piccys I've taken of site are going to be used for BP Hull's calender for next year, so that's cheered me up no end. Off to the gym after work, get a few rays on the sunbed then back home. Oh what a fast life I lead.

im fine actually, im off to see the film 28 days later tonight as i have free tickets 
oh and i went shopping yesterday so that made me feel better also met a rather nice lass but now i just gotta pull my finger out and do something about it
good to hear about that calendar i will have to get a copy
