@ scoobynutta

We did nearly have a 'dumb & dumber' moment when I took off my glove to use the camera, then nearly leaned on the railings with my bare hand. D'oh!

DW you muppet I've only been here for over a year

Thumbs up

Is it the Cafe at Aviemore?
Went there two years ago in Spring, when there was loads of snow and was really pleasantly surprised with the skiing.
Will go again if it keeps that kind of snow you had.
Bloody cold when the sun goes and the wind gets up though.

There was me thinking you'd lugged a laptop or PDA with a GSM phone to the top of Snowden or Ben Nevis.

Butty, it is the cafe at the top of Cairn Gorm mountain, about 5 miles south of & 3000ft up from Aviemore, there was no snow in the surrounding areas at this point but the snowline was dropping daily whilst we were there.

BTW DW, are you blonde I only ask because, as they say; he who laughs last takes longest to get the joke

Cool

What a great place, recommended to everybody, the last stretch of the A9 doesn't half make you feel insignificant in comparison to the surroundings, especially when it is blowing a blizzard
