Technically, I suppose that I paid for the speed limiter that came with my STI.

Insurance

BTW, those squeegee things are superb - I've had one for three years now and it does the job brilliantly. It's all about wrist action

Leather gaitor cover for around the gear stick. It didn't quite fit, and when I tried to pull it just a little bit harder - cause it nearly made it - it ripped up the middle!

£20 down the drain.

Those stupid Sparco seatbelt shoulder pads. That are so crap they dont let the seatbelt return when u take it off. Pity cos they go quite well with the colour of my car. They are in the boot at the mo.

Johny gav

Yep, there are 2 types of 2pots I think those on MY97-98 are different than those pre97. So I have a set of pads for the later type keeping the OE downpipe in the garage company....

One of these air freshner thingies.

It can't compete with the dog after he's had too many titbits!!!

The electric windows are the most useful thing.

Autoglym polish - a big bottle of it and a bottle of the top coat stuff - then discovered Wax Wizard - they're still full and in my garage.

What made it worse - my wife saw it (and doesn't quite get the car thing) and as I'm hard to buy presents for - I then got a load more of it for Christmas.....doh
