Quite an eye opener. There's me thinking that Shawshank Redemption was completely fake, but some of it rings true.

any comments on his take on prison life?

i read today that hes in the same prison as fellow Lutonian, Charles Bronson. Apparently Charles barricaded himself in with a few Iraqi plane hijackers and demended a machine gun, a helicopter and a blow up doll to release them. Even Archer couldnt top that as a prison story in his diaries.

I certainly wouldnt want to share a cell with this bloke. I have yet to read his autobiography but anticipate that it will be a better story than the mess that Archer pens

I would rather walk from London to Glasgow with nails in my feet than contribute to Geoffrey(insert expletive here) Archers bank account either by buying the diaries or the Daily Mail if they paid him for the serialisation

So I have no opinion on the matter
