A mate of mine got stopped by foot patrol police on Saturday night. There was a guy in the car with him who was wanted so the cops asked him to pull over but he didnt he just drove off.

Can you get done for this and if so would you get a fine, prison etc, cheers

I would not like to be in your friends shoes, I suppose it all depends on the police who tried to stop him. If they got his plate I would think they will come a knockin' and they would try to charge him with something.

Not good

What would they try to charge him with? I didn't think failure to stop became an offence until yesterday apparently

Red face

Failure to stop has always been an offence, look at failure to stop at an accident, same sort of thing! i think they just changed the categories a bit.
