Anyone know of a half decent hotel near the shopping centre? Looking at £60 a night for 1, possibly 2 nights for me and the missus so nothing too lavish please.
Also anyone recommend any decent restaurants in the vicinity?
Thanks,
Simon.

In no particular order, I know of a travel lodge nearby, a campanile and a holiday inn express, all within 5 minutes drive. There is also a Hilton, but that will probably blow the £60, and a best Western (the Manor, Gravesend), but they are a little more money. As I live within a couple of miles, I have never stayed in any.
The travel lodge is marginally the closest of the lot, convenient for the A2, M25 Dartford tunnel, and probably within your price range. try here
Hope that helps,
Phil

Just noticed second part of the question - What kind of restaurants?
There's plenty of places to eat in Bluewater, ranging from McDonalds up to some fairly pricey places, there's an OK JD Wetherspoon's pub in Dartford (The paper moon), there's Harvester's about, you name it.
When you coming? If you're there this Friday, why not wander along to the scoobynet meeting up the road at Chatham - I can help you get there if you like.

I take it you will be supervising the spending then seeing as you can't make the excuse that the traffic will be bad if you don't leave right now (where have I heard that one before)
