Nokia 6310 - Colours

Our company is just switching from O2 (BT Cellnet) to Orange.
As part of that all the company mobiles are being returned and reissued with Nokia 6310i handsets.
I handed over the 6310 supplied by O2 and the guy from Orange made a comment about the colour (dark case, silver flashing and gold screen surround).
It turns out that the gold faced 6310 colour scheme was done at the request of O2!!
Why on Earth did they pick those colours?
I have a nice silver one now!
Just wish everyone in the office wasn't chosing ring tones at the same time!

the bt one is a 6310 no i and was available in Jet Black, Sirocco Bronze and Mistral Beige a 6310i is bluetooth and java and is available in Jet Black, Mistral Beige, Lightning Silver. Jet black is the nasty one

You might notice I did say the O2 phone was the 6310.
The 6310 also had GPRS and Blue tooth.
The difference between the 6310 and 6310i is the 6310i is Tri-band and the 6310 is duel-band.
The colour scheme Jet Black (thanks for the name) was requested by O2 and Orange it seems are not wanting to use it!
500+ 6310i's in Lightning Silver are being issued here... you should see the queues!

Hmm my personal 7110 (yes okay I was tragic) must need replacing soon... might contact Orange and say I am thinking of leaving them!

well i whent to see what i would get seeing as my 8210 was faulty and they said we will fix it
