Unhappy

Isn't that the site that has loads of Americans slagging off Hope brakes??

Now if Hope was a US firm it might be different....

Sti...you do have a point!! But at the same time ,the Avid in this country gets slated as everyone thinks you must have Hopes to stop.

My XTR V-brakes are near as dammit as powerful as my brothers Hopes, except in the wet of course

Good site though that, I always go on for a gander at how stuff is being rated.

If you look through the reviews, compare Hope against Hayes disc brakes. Everyone loves Hayes.....

Trust me, I've used many over the last 10 years, XT V's XTR V's Magura Raceline's, Avid's, Hayes hydro, XC4's, Enduro's, and Mini's.

Even considered trying XT disc, but then woke up.

I'm back to running my fave's, the Enduro 4 pots, as they are very powerful, and as modulated as you like.

I'm not a Hope salesman, but firmly believe they are teh BEST, no question. until perhaps XTR disc make an appearance...

Now how about the Hope 6 pots for my STi

Avid Mechs rock, no question. And none of that nasty fluid stuff either

Just sold my i-Drive so I only have one bike now and that has V's on it. Oh, and only one gear too

Cheers

sorry, no way! soon as you go near mud those avid mech's go a bit crappy.

For the fab British conditions mech brakes do not compare.

Sti ... Tubeless have a great ride. But at this stage I would never buy them. They leak!!. maybe in a few years they will get it right.

Well my front tyre is still up , but the rear seems to keep losing pressure looks to me like the valve housing is causing the problem.
