What is it with old people in Invalid Carriages these days.
On a trip to Bracknell town centre yesterday i nearly got flattened by 3 of them travelling at a fair old rate of knots thru a busy town centre. One of them even hit my leg, and looked surprised that I called him a blind old tw@t !
They seem to creep down the roads too, can you see a road tax on them. No i didnt think so.
Even my 74 year old grandad was moaning about this last week, where he thinks the problem is apalling.
I understand the need for the elderly to get about but ffs slow down, if it was me on me bike then i would get nicked.

Wotcher Dave!
They must be making the damn things faster these days.
My sister works in a hospital back home in Somerset and she was telling me of one old guy they had in recently who'd suffered a broken arm when he fell from his electric buggy after cornering too fast on the pavement - apparently it threw him into the road!!
Of course, it could be the scrumpy that made his driving erratic!
Cheers,
Steve

I think they may be getting faster as there has been a spate of kids stealing them and joy riding them in my area
Seriously though WTF are they doing on the road. Surely it's not legal - no tax, MOT,registration or insurance. What would happen if they caused an accident? Ban the lot I say.

I saw one recently that had gone out of control and come down an embankment on to the dual carriageway. Looked fairly nasty - ambulance there and everything. Also a car was stopped - hopefully just witnesses - unless that had hit him too

If you think that the electric invalid carraiges are bad have you seen Robo-Mop in the shopping centre? For those that don't know it is an automated sweeper that goes round cleaning up and has been known to go a bit loopy, and has I think tried to destroy a couple of shops.

On a lighter note - have you seen the Irn-Bru advert where the old dear does a ram raid to nick loads of cans in her cart's shopping basket?
Final shot is her heading towards 2 police Discovery's having run over a stinger, with a copper shouting: "step away from the vehicle!" - always makes me laugh (I know, I'm easily amused!)

Saw on telly the other night a geezer doing Lands End to John O' Groats and back in one.
8mph all the way...country roads the lot!
Anyone seen the new road safety campaign?
"All road users are equal"
When these old gits get raped in tax the way motorists do, then perhaps i'll class them equal.
Oh and another thing (while i'm here), has anyone noticed in America...9 outta 10 fat gits are running around in the things!
Ridiculous!

Hi guys!
Bloomin cast is on until the beginning of August at least! M loves it tho as she gets to drive the Scoob and leave the Audi at home!
Was thinking of organising an Eibach group buy on www.zimmer-bandits.co.uk
See you soon,
Steve
Edited for krap spolling!
