We go regularly. We've got a caravan in Aberdovey and we're only 25 minutes away from Corris. Spent many an afternoon watching some tremendous 'displays'

Tell me about it!

The Swiss do a training day near Interlaken every year where you can take a ski lift up and watch them practice bombing in the valley below you. It apparently attracts thousands of spectators and is a spectacular show!

pretty amazing isnt it, theres an in cockpit vid up there on youtube, pilot does a full talk through, seriously impressive.

Theres a funny vid of yank f15's flying through and they are above the camera, a hercules pilot then says hold my beer and makes them look like pussies and is well below the camera hahaha

I've been, it's great

It's not too bad to get to the viewpoint, the real issue is parking! If you can park at the top of the pass, it's not long at all, but it gets busy, and you can end up having a fair trek then. You can also go up the other side, which looks a bit of a scramble, I have never been up that side, but I have seen people on there. The better view is on the right, as you look down the valley, though, as they tend to bank to the right at the narrowest part, so you can see in the cockpit. Check the weather, it's very exposed, and they don't fly at weekends (or never used to).
