Tonight channel 4 news described the UK flooding caused by storm Dennis as 'apocalyptic'.
The accepted definition of apocalyptic is 'describing or prophesying the complete destruction of the world'.
Although the UK flooding is serious, I'm not sure I'd put a tenner on this being the end of the world for us all.
Who writes this stuff?

They are all at it.
BBC reported on a plane engine ‘exploding’ with attached video...nope, it surged and backfired. No explosion.
I’ve had to stop using newsfeeds as its full of click-baiting headlines. Just looked now and we have ‘Virus could MUTATE!’, ‘Sturgeon SILENCED!’ and ‘Brexit DELAY!’.
FFS, even capitals just to emphasise the empty bulls**t reports.

FFS this is not WW3.
I don’t know about you, I, like most Brits just got up and went to work, came home, had tea and went to bed (and repeat). Most of are not ill, and we’re not in any battle. And probably the same can be said for most of the global population.
