Are we (UK) a feeble bunch?
I think we are!
We listen to our feeble press.
We block our A&E departments with non-emergency cases.
We close our schools at the first sight of a snowflake.
We close major roads/motorways for hours and hours following accidents.
So many new medical disorders and problems to blame or exploit for those that don't want to work.
We discuss/oppose/delay every major infrastructure project or development until most are shelved or scrapped.
We are pathetic!
FFS, grow some.

The British press is a joke and the public have been so dumbed down that they believe everything they are told and can't think for themselves!
There have been decades of under-investment in our public services and infrastructure, particularly in the North, which is rotting the country from within!
The sense of community has almost completely been lost, many people don't know or talk to their neighbours and there is no money for organising community events!
The UK is becoming more and more like the US, with personal greed championed while social welfare is neglected! This has widened the social divide and resulted in ever mode anger and disillusionment from the general public.
If we also lose our sense of humour, then we really are doomed!

It also seems that you are blaming everything on the Coronavirus now.

I always thought the UK was one of the leading lights in the fashion industry but it seems you can't even make a wedding dress anymore.

It seems the UK really does want to go back to the stone age and not be a world leader afterall. First Brexit and now no new runways.
