Default Can someone recommend a car jump starter battery pack ?

I've been meaning to get some jump leads for a while especially with winter on it's way, it got me thinking why not get a battery pack jump starter instead as you can not always get someone to give you a jump start.

Can someone recommend one, something similar to these on amazon

I have had a bolt power D28 for a couple of years now after my brother recommended it to me

Holds its charge well and the few times i used it it worked great, also comes with other accessories so you can charge your phone if the need arises

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-13600m...sAAOSws8NZ4GNZ

This is the cheapest i can find

Thanks for the heads up Martin, it looks like a good piece of kit from the youtube reviews that i've seen. The only problem with the ebay link you gave is the seller is based in China and they only have 1 feedback.

Thanks Pacenote, i'll check that one out.

Thats true i did'nt notice the lack of feedback

I got mine from a seller in China, i'm not so sure i'd get that one though with 1 feedback. keep a eye out and see if a new seller turns up

I've had a Clarke one from machine mart for about 10 years, gets used regularly as a jump pack and compressor and has never let me down. Battery still holds charge for a decent time too. Paid about £60 if I recall.

I got my Clarke one from Machine Mart, cost about £60 and is easy to use. They also do one that fits in the glove box, but if you have problems with your car battery going flat (like I did), it's probably an idea to replace it, then you don't have to worry about jump starting!
