Beign out of work, is finally getting to me!

I've tried some job sites:

http://www.jobboard.it
http://www.it.jobserve.com
http://www.totaljobs.co.uk
http://www.workthing.com
http://www.monster.co.uk
http://www.gisajob.com
http://www.theitjobboard.com
http://www.cwjobs.co.uk

I'm finding that most of the agencies will call back as soon as you send a CV, get more details and then nothing more. Or there is a reply straight away that the job is gone! (even if it was posted an hour earlier!)

I'm getting a bit sick of all this. Can anyone recommend anything that may help?

Skills - Over 6 years supporting 9x, NT, etc. MCSE NT, Compaq ACT, Citrix CCA. Help Desk, Senior Systems Engineer and consultancy experience. Worked in finaicial, law firm, banking, local govenment environments. Solid references and companies behind me.

Looking for work in Surrey, willing to take £25k!

Not an insult... but maybe your cv needs rewriting?

Help Desk is one of my skills, but ideally technical support of some fashion. In which case £25k is reasonable!

David,

MY girlfriend works in HR, her manager looked over the CV and it was re-written according to his recommendations!

Already covered that, but thanks for the suggestion!
