If you think you may need one, then maybe you should leave the car at home.
And if it's for the morning after, then maybe not drink so much on the night before.
Not being anti-drink, but just common sense.

I was just interested in them, i never drive if I've drunk any alcohol. But would be interested to know when i have drunk how much i blow on the tester.

The general consensus on the better re-usable electronic ones (as per tests on autoexpress and similar), is that they work very well, but need recalibrating every year to remain truly accurate. The fee for that will vary depending on the manufacturer, but could be anywhere from £8 to around £30 (not sure if that includes postage either).
