A guitar and a sad song? Sounds like that Ed Shearer bloke. Mind you, Ed sings love songs, mainly. Doesn't he? But perhaps he's trying melancholic market as well.

I listened to Radio 1 for a change the other day in my car, and was pleasantly surprised to hear some good new pop songs, actually. That Ibiza so n' so band is good, and I think that Tiny Tempon isn't bad either, if you could ignore his gibberish lyrics.

 

Oh, I think Zayn kid's 'War zone and Paradise' song is quite good as well. Video is utter shyte, though. I had a music channel on while I did some art tonight, and that song turned my head to my TV when he belted it out.

 

Track is from a band called Gaslight Anthem - have a listen to their Handwritten album, I think it was from around 2012.

 

Along the right lines, less reverb slower more dylan-esq.
