I bet her dad would like 5 minutes with him! At 19 most people are too irresponsible to handle power like that. My Austin metro wouldn't wheel spin in the rain, but I still drove everywhere like I stole it.
You'd think being involved in a scenario like that would be a shock to the system, but it looks like he's just carried on regardless.

Send Ronnie Pickering round!! Seriously though, it is an awful thing to happen to anyone. I'd be absolutely gutted if she were my daughter.

Who?
Seriously though I remember seeing one of the cops shows where they showed the accident this guy was in; The girl didn't stand a chance being rammed by 2ton of metal doing twice the speed limit.
He obviously hasn't learnt a single thing.

It breaks my heart to here this story and what makes it worse for me is this guy thinks he can do what ever he wants because his family have a few quid. His mother and father should be ashamed of their spoilt little silver spoon fed ****!

On the program I watched, the crux of his short conviction was that as she did not die they could only charge him with dangerous driving which has a much lower maximum sentence.
If she had died his charge would have been death by dangerous driving and he could have been sent down for longer.
I think that now she has died, they will try again. Its going to be iffy though as they need to prove that her death was caused by the crash. And seeing it was a infection that had caused her death, the court is going to have a hard time blaming the crash on the infection that eventually killed her. This is probably why the CPS/Police aren't willing to take it further.
