Question wireless day/night monitor

Hi all, I'm looking for a baby monitor that a can view from my phone/tablet.

I have seen something like this, that ticks all the boxes, but i'm not sure about the picture quality. and from seeing a youtube vid, it doesn't look the best.

It is to be used inside to keep an eye on baby upstairs.

is there anything the people of scoobynet would recommend please?

I'd suggest better res rather than say pan and tilt which is a bit unnecessary

yes, might need to screw it to a wooden plinth or something but i'd go for something like that, it can be used for cctv monitoring property afterwards

use youtube for reviews for specific models as you've done already, most of these things are rebadged

I use the exact same one for baby monitoring. PQ is plenty good enough for the purpose. I get around 16fps over WiFi.

Mines being used with the MyDlink Lite app and TinyCam Pro with my other cameras. The D-Link is much faster to display an image than my Foscams.

I find it fine for the purpose. It's only 640x480, but that's enough to check up on the little one. Mines not attached to the wall yet, just hung over the end of the cot at the moment, but the bracket is excellent.

This is a still from the video:

The infrared mode is very good too. Even in total darkness you can see them breathing.

We use it on our phones, tablets and on the Chromecast to the TV.

I use this D-Link camera (it's 720p).
It has infrared, motion detection (not necessary but I might repurpose the camera), messages can be sent to phone, you can use a tablet or pc to view livestream, you can record and some more features might come handy if put outside (temperature resistance, weather proof and so on)
