So I was digging around in the loft came across a few goodies from my child hood Sega megadrive and Sega Saturn, n64 ps1 a gamegear and a old brown atari system and a few other bits and pieces that got put away again but the pokemon cards my mate says are worth selling it's near on a full set in the proper folder, do any of you guys know about them and how to value them, also found a couple of big folder/wallets full of pogs haha who remembers them cheers in advance, ps not looking sell as such they will most probably get put back up in storage, would just like to know a rough value and what cards are missing from making it a full set, there's no shops in my area that sell/deal in these to get them valued please help

I got 33 cards with little black star, 35 with diamond, 74 black circle, 37 training cards,
22 energy cards, 3 hologram star cards, 11 diamond hologram cards, 13 circle hologram cards, 13 hologram trainer cards, 3 hologram energy cards + 37 story type cards + a load of the packs the cards came in and the folder all as brand new in the proper wallet holder thing, what would all that amount to in money terms?

The original 151 are worth pennies, trust me, I've got the complete set including all 12 hologram cards. The 12 holo cards in mint-near mint condition are £60, all the others can be picked up on eBay for pennies. The most valuable one from the original base set is holo charizard which is £20, the other holos in mint are £2-8 depending on the card. I bought them individually off ebay because I wanted all the 12 base set holos. I have them nicely framed together which looks good . There are a lot more expensive pokemon cards out there for £100+. The base set isn't all that great unless you have the "shadowless" base set which is extremely unlikely (and even then only the mint holos are worth the buck).
Rubbish pic but you get the idea. I also have all holo cards from jungle and fossil set framed like this too.
