Hi Sara, flat battery possibly? Although you should still be able to unlock the door manually. Are you using the right key?!

Replace the battery in the key? Is there a LED on the key fob and does it glow when pressed? Do you have a 2nd key?

On all vehicles I've owned the driver's door at least has always openable manually by key.

Maybe get in via the rear hatch (ooh-err) using the key?

It's definately the right key as its all i have. The gob flashes red when i press it but the car is silent. The key turns left and tight in the door and hatch but the lock is silent and doesn't move. How odd. What if a child was in the car.

Failing that you could take the battery out and stick it under your armpit for 10 mins and try again.

Howdy Squaresy - good to see you back on the site. I hope things are well with you.

Possibly a weak battery in the remote control, change the battery, or try your spare key - hope you are having more luck with this type R than the last one

You piz takers lol. Yes its my car and no it wasn't the yellow scoob. Its my Honda Dunc, it says so on my opening post

Managed to get the car open but it wouldn't bump start. The immobiliser was the reason i couldn't get in the car. Time for a new battery now!

TT this is my 4th one in 4 years! First one written off after 6 months. Second one, supercharged, was stolen after 6 month. Grey one written off after 10 days and this one, black has lasted 3 years lol
