Police are responding to a high school north of Seattle following reports of a shooting.
TV footage showed students being evacuated from Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Washington state.
There are unconfirmed reports that between two and six people have been injured and that gunfire rang out in a cafeteria.
The FBI sent agents to the scene
Armed police were conducting room-to-room searches with guns drawn, leaving tape to mark the doors of areas already cleared, reports the Seattle Times.
An FBI spokesperson in Seattle, Ayn Dietrich, said the agency had sent personnel to the scene.

I'm not sure these shootings really are a result of the gun laws as such, I suspect they are more a consequence of the appalling education system in the US
