I bought a floor steam cleaners.. from VAX.
if you go to their website and sign up to the news letter, they email you when they have a sale on, they also do box damage sales, I got a £99 cleaner for £25. it arrived and I couldn't find any box damage

been pleased with it.

I've got one. Build quality isn't great but it is great for hard floor surfaces and hand held cleaning. Hasn't broken yet after a year.

Rug doctor?

(Sounds like an urban term for a gynecologist )

You know what, I also got attracted towards that steam cleaner from the TV advert. Each time I see one in some store, I stop and just gaze at it. I'm not sure if I need one, but you know what we humans are like! I've definitely decided subconsciously that I won't be throwing my good money away to home one of them gimmicky things- no way. I can bet you any money, though, that when I see another one in some shop, I'll stop and gaze at it for **** all! I give up.

lol

TH completely hypnotised, rooted totally motionless to the spot -- even after the shop has closed, the lights turned off and the staff have left.

The scene.

Glass ok, carpets not so. Rug Doctor better, but a professional deep clean is far better still. We find the steam mop good for day-to-day maintenance but once a year having carpets done with anti-flea treatment is money well spent for us.

The water tank is relatively small and u need to keep a close eye on it. They replaced mine straight away, all I sent off was the body and got a brand new with all accessories, so their customer service is pretty gd. I think it's good for day to day light cleaning but not when u want to clean something that is really dirty.

So if you accidentally let the tank go dry when using it, it ****s it up?

Silly, I know.

Aldi's utter clutter in specific has a weird appeal. It's like a car boot sale of new goods there. Even when cycling and fishing related type of things have nothing to do with me that Aldi seems to be very fond of laying out, I do have to stop by; just to stare at those goods. Complete waste of time for most of the times. Mind you, this waste of time was fruitful lately when I cleverly spotted useful sets of three spacious storage boxes with lids for a tenner among Aldi's blatantly disorganised display. Now those exact boxes are actually a tenner each in Homebase, so I got a bargain there.

Now that's not funny to me. I tell you why. You see, I liked them so much that I got one set, and I went again the next day to get another set of 3. Then I went again to get another set which was left on its own. It was gone by the time I got there. Now I know who snapped it.

I'm only joshing, ok? I'm also keeping an eye out to get at least two more sets. Very useful storage solution. They may come back in Aldi's jumble sale. Bleddy Wellingtons are found stuck among scented candles and undergarments are found among pots and pans there. I wish they were a bit more neat with their display. What a mess, but Aldi could be wisely milking their consumers' treasure hunting mindset with such display. Evidence is that the likes of me that don't like messy display keep going back to find a diamond among the garbage they put out. Garbage to me can be some other person's gold, I know.

Oh, on the topic, I also saw that handheld steamer there recently. They have a few in atm. Go and get it before they fly off their shelves. I'm not buying it. IMO it looks like witch's water bottle for Halloween dress up. Very plasticky and cheap looking tat. Makes Tupperware look posh. The boxes I bought looked more pleasant to eyes than that ghastly steamer.
