No doubt this show gets panned on SN with the usual "My wife-insists-on-having-it-on-so-I-have to-listen-to-this-rubbish" but I quite enjoy it as there are some good acts in amongst the dross

And being old I enjoy Sinatra. This band came along with a classic Sinatra song and I thought they were terrific.

I'm not that old to appreciate Sinatra in same way as you, David. Nor do I watch BGT regularly. The only bit I've caught if this programme by now is when a child was throwing knives at his mum, and Cowell nearly got killed by him upon his show off volunteering for the act. I also saw a woman singing her lungs out on the day her BF broke up with her. Now, with my heart going out to that woman, I find to see all that on the talent shows quite embarrassing now. Same old emotion-stirring sho!te, same old facial dramas by the judges. Gives me cringes. Also, cheesy Cowell has too much foundation on his face, which is a put off.

No doubt that heart-broken woman will soon be booted out of the show, and then you won't see Cowell running after her to give her a record deal, because of 'her boyfriend dumped her' sorry saga.

Even foreign ones try to play sympathy card on this show. Honestly, bored of all this.
