Basically avoid Worcester next weekend .....

..... unless you are hard enough of course.

I reckon it's organised by Karen so she can drag race everything in her new Legy.

Tony,

I have no idea what this meet is, but it does sound a bit "boy racer" to me.

Yes, like the animation

Cheers

Cool

Karen doesn't just overtake other cars now...

...She has to annihilate them!

No idea what this is about. ( Although Listers are having an invitation only weekend to test drive the new STi, got my invite today )
Give us a time and date Tony and I'll try and make it now that the scoob has been fixed by the "scooby fixer". Excellent job.
The cibies on the front have transformed themselves into PIAAs.
Had the car back for nearly 2 weeks and took it easy for the first few days to check for any new squeaks and rattles, but over the last few days have been pressing the loud pedal lots.
Perhaps Blade could sort out a little run to help Tony run his new toy in. ( ensure plenty of petrol stations )

Jon

Schuey,

I would be more than happy to arrange a little meet n'drive if everyone is up for it.

How about the 7th April ?

This would give Tony a chance to run in his new car.

If anyone is interested post on this thread and if the response is good i will start a new thread. I was thinking of a meet nr Worcester fairly early on a Sunday morning say 10ish, an hour or so drive towards Wales, a few photos, pub lunch then back again may be via a different route.

Any takers ?

Rob

Thanks Tony for the cartoon - yep thats me trying to make sure that your delivery gets a proper escort to Listers

of course, if the date gets put back too much then this'll be you on the April 7th Meet

I hope you're gonna take a week off to get to your first 1k, or will it be a Le Mans style, non-stop 'til the first service

Hope to be there to help you celebrate

and unwrap

Blade - I would be up for a little trek into the Borders to ease Tony into his new driving position (nose on the windscreen with each tap of the brake)

Can't make the 7th April as I will be in Rome for the Italy v England rugby match.
Most other Sundays are free, at the moment.

Cool

Jon,
steady on, you'll need to have the diary out for the GP dates, or someone will "accidentally" tell you the race results

Sorry Schuey,

I've got the first test drive on Saturday morning (whilst mine's in for a service) - There may not be a new STi7 at Lister's by 9.30, unless someone wants to help me get it back out of whichever tree I park in...

Tony,

Just saw your old car at Listers - Aren't you gonna be upset cos of the exhaust on the new STi7? Didn't seem loud enough to me ;-).

Specially seeing the monster oval zaust you used to have...

Andy

Sti7 demonstrator "V 7AST" - not wrong there...
